Why are highly sensitive students scared of public speaking ?
Teachers describe highly sensitive children as those who on the one hand, want to appear in public and present themselves, but on the other hand, experience such situations more strongly than other children. Teachers are surprised by the fact that usually highly sensitive children are very well prepared, well-trained and have no reason to fear this much.
Meanwhile…
The paradox observed by teachers stems from two contradictory tendencies in highly sensitive children. One of them is ambition, the need for achievement. These children willingly take up challenges, often set a high bar for themselves, wanting to achieve mastery in some field. Unfortunately, at the same time, they are sensitive to the evaluation of others and attach great importance to it. Any manifestations of criticism or lack of acceptance from the environment severely offend them.
